Isuzu NMS 65/45-150 AWD DT Traypack

The Isuzu NMS 65/45-150 AWD Traypack is a versatile, ready-to-work truck combining Isuzu’s renowned reliability with all-wheel-drive capability, a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission and a heavy-duty aluminium tray. Designed for operators who need additional traction without stepping up to a traditional 4x4 truck, the NMS AWD is equally at home around town, on worksites and tackling unsealed or slippery conditions.

Powered by Isuzu’s 3.0-litre 4JZ1-TCS turbo-diesel engine, the NMS produces 110kW (150PS) and 430Nm of torque. It is paired with Isuzu’s 9-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DT), offering fully automatic operation as well as clutchless manual shifting for a smooth and easy driving experience.
The on-demand part-time all-wheel-drive system, controlled by a viscous coupling, provides additional traction when conditions demand it while retaining the everyday driveability expected from an N Series truck.

With selectable 6,500kg or 4,500kg GVM ratings, this model can be configured to suit different operating and licensing requirements. The DT variant has an 8,000kg GCM, while the 4,500kg GVM configuration offers up to 4,000kg towing capacity, subject to applicable requirements and approved towing equipment.

Ready to get straight to work, the NMS is fitted with Isuzu's purpose-designed Traypack aluminium body, featuring:

The tray measures approximately 3,663mm externally and 3,473mm internally, while the truck's compact 2,760mm wheelbase helps deliver excellent manoeuvrability. The dimensional diagram on page 5 shows an overall vehicle length of approximately 5,385mm and a kerb-to-kerb turning circle of 11.3 metres.

Advanced Safety Technology

The NMS features an extensive suite of Isuzu's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, including Advanced Emergency Braking (AEB), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Anti-Skid Regulator (ASR), Attention Alert System, Distance Warning System, Electronic Stability Control, Lane Departure Warning and Traffic Movement Warning.

As the Dual-Clutch variant, it also gains Full Speed Adaptive Cruise Control, Intelligent Speed Limiter, Miss Acceleration Mitigation and Traffic Sign Recognition. Driver and front passenger airbags, seatbelt pretensioners and an ECE-R29 compliant cab with side anti-intrusion beams provide additional occupant protection.

Comfort & Technology

Inside, the NMS offers a comfortable and well-equipped workspace with automatic climate control, a mechanically suspended driver's seat, electric windows, tilt and telescopic steering column, cruise control, Passive Entry and Start System and steering wheel-mounted controls.

The 10.1-inch MyISUZU Co-Pilot touchscreen provides truck-tailored GPS navigation, AM/FM/DAB+ radio, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Wi-Fi connectivity and smartphone integration.
